Basic Scanning
Scanning to an E-mail Address
You can attach the data for a scanned document to an e-mail for transmission.
InternetInternet
Load the document, and press <Scan>.

For details on loading documents, refer to Chapter 1, “Loading Documents” in the User’s •
Guide.
Set the document type, contrast, and resolution as necessary. • (See page 1-20.)
Change the file format

(see page 2-30) and specify advanced settings such as
entering a message (see page 2-22), as necessary.
Press the [e-mail] tab.
