Adding a text message to your e-mail

When you send a document to an e-mail address, the following ﬁxed sub-

ject and text are entered automatically.

Subject:

This is an E-mail message.

Text:

Please see the ﬁle attached.

However you can change the e-mail subject line and text message for each

transmission.

Editing the subject line and text message

Set the document.

Press <SCAN> on the control panel.

Press [e-mail].

Press [Others].

Press [e-mail Subject].
